Waratah has a suite of grain only and dual purpose (graze and grain recovery) triticale varieties adapted to a range of environments and management systems - from early sown, very long season Endeavour, through to the quick maturing, very short season Chopper.
Following is a brief description of each variety and a link to a more detailed information brochure.

chopper
Features
- early maturing
- suited to late sowing, short seasons, low rainfall and under-sowing pastures
- Shorter than any current triticale varieties with reduced lodging
- moderately resistant moderately susceptible to both Jackie and WA strains of stripe rust
- moderatley resistant to stem rust
- resitant to cereal cyst nematode (CCN)
endeavour
Features
- strong winter habit
- excellent yield after grazing compared to all other lines in the NSW mixed cereal trials
- high yield in very dry seasons
- easy threshing
- resistant to leaf, stem and stripe rust, including Jackie stripe rust strain
- protected by Plant Breeders Rights (seed produced cannot be sold, traded, bartered or gifted for propagation without authorisation).

berkshire
Features
- grain only variety
- suited to the feed grain needs of the Australian pork industry
- equivalent yielding to other grain only varieties
- moderately resistant to WA strain of stripe rust. Moderately susceptible to jackie strain of stripe rust
- higher digestable energy levels - 0.8 MJ/kg DE higher than other triticale varieties
